Kirstin Says: Watch Out, Kendra — Kirstie Alley Might Win 'Dancing With The Stars!'

In a plot twist I never saw coming, Kirstie Alley knocked it out of the park with her sassy moves on the season premiere of Dancing with the Stars!

Ladies and gentlemen, I believe we have a new front runner on Dancing with the Stars! I thought producers were holding Kirstie Alley for the end of the show because she is the biggest celeb they have this season, but that wasn’t the case at all: girlfriend can dance!

I’m not sure what training she’s had before this, but Kirstie — who looks PHENOMENAL for 60, by the way — seemed like a pro on the dance floor doing the cha-cha-cha to Ceelo‘s “Forget You.” At first, I imagined Maksim Chmerkovskiy was bummed to get paired with someone who wasn’t smoking hot, but now I think he’s the luckiest pro of all. Not only did their premiere number garner the second highest score of the night (23 out of 30), but Kirstie cracks more jokes than a stand up comedian. No wonder Cheers and Look Who’s Talking did so well. This lady is brilliant!

That said, there were two other dancers tonight who I think we’ll see to the very end: The Karate Kid‘s Ralph Macchio and early fan favorite Kendra Wilkinson.

Ralph couldn’t have been cuter doing the foxtrot with Karina Smirnoff to Dean Martin. The judges agreed and gave him a 24. Meanwhile, Kendra “I used to be a stripper and it shows when I dance” Wilkinson held her own and made her fans proud with her cha-cha-cha. Although she didn’t score the third highest (she received 18 out of 30), her personality made her stand out from her competition.

Most disappointing of the night had to be Wendy Williams. I thought this outrageous talk show host was going to be overflowing with personality, but boy was I wrong. She was boring, stiff and all around a bummer to watch. However, I wouldn’t give Wends the boot just yet. Radio show host Mike Catherwood was even worse than Wendy and I’m still confused as to why he got cast in the first place!

What did you think of tonight’s premiere? Are you excited about this season? Who are your front runners so far? Sound off below!

Kendra style reminds me of Pamela last year but I think Kirstie can dance, looks natural not pushing too much and she has the rhythm. If she really concentrates and wants to learn, she can win this. Considering it is also good for her health, she´s 60 yrs old and looks very young. Amazing.

I had a feeling Kirstie would do alright…..she is a person who would just let her inhabitions carry her,,,,,didnt think she would do this if she didnt think she could get it on and have a good time,,,,,,,to fun loving for that,,,,,what a kick she is…….Max should have a ball……..

Kirstie was so much better than I thought she would be. I thought for sure the younger contestants would be way better than the older ones. I think she could win the thing.

“Maksim Chmerkovskiy was bummed to get paired with someone who wasn’t smoking hot”…are you kidding me??? That comment is very rude. Kirstie Alley is gorgeous, smart, funny and multi-talented too! “Smoking hotness” is not determined by a woman’s size, weight or age. It’s so much more than that.

I have always loved Kirstie and thought she did great as did Ralph, the Karate Kid. Sorry, I don’t see the hype about Kendra – she thinks she’s cute and she may make it pretty far but others like Petra and Sugar Ray show potential too – it’s early! I’m cheering for Kirstie!

I’m cheering for Kirstie too. Ralph was really good too. I feel like Kendra will do ok because she has a tv show right now but she better watch out for Kirstie and Ralph :)
