CBS Wants Charlie Sheen Back & Charlie Is Ready To Return To 'Two And A Half Men'! Exclusive Info!

HollywoodLife.com has learned CBS execs are anxious to get Charlie back now that he’s talking to Fox about a late- night show!

Charlie Sheen hasn’t stopped to take a break since he was fired from Two and a Half Men, and it may have all paid off! The actor has been speaking to Fox about a possible late-night gig and it’s prompted CBS to try and woo him back to his hit sitcom. And an insider tells us Charlie is willing to return!

“The rumors are true — CBS wants Charlie back. They saw how popular his tour has become, how it has been selling out, and when word spread that he started talking to Fox about a late-night show, some decision-makers got a little antsy,” reveals the Two and a Half Men insider.

So why are they willing to reverse their decision and ask him to return after publicly firing him? “The executives and show runners are thinking about money –and in Hollywood money wins every time.”

And as for Charlie, our source says he’s ready to re-negotiate!

“Charlie has always been interested in playing ball. There’s over an 80% chance of a deal happening, in my opinion. Charlie will have to schedule a few meetings in between his touring. But the way people are talking, time will mend everything and next season looks very promising. It’s kind of in Charlie’s court right now.”

The insider even goes as far as saying serious, direct negotiations “are a phone call away” — although it could take a few months to finalize the details.

“With people’s schedules, things will take a little bit to hash out. I think over the summer, early summer if not sooner, things will get done. Certainly before decisions have to be made for advertisers. And with or without Charlie, one way or another I would be shocked if it didn’t come back!”

Charlie has publicly ranted against show creator Chuck Lorre, but our source doesn’t seem to think their war of words will stop them from putting aside their differences. “They probably won’t kiss and make up but they will be civil enough to get the job done. In this business you deal and work with a lot of jerks, so this wouldn’t be any different. Chuck Lorre might not be the nicest guy in the world, but he is smart enough to know who pays his paychecks. He’ll manage.”

And our mole says the cast and crew will most likely be on board with Charlie’s re-hiring. “It’s a job and it’s a job most had fun with and they are good at, so I really don’t see them not being on board. If anyone has found another job by the time things return, there are plenty of competent people that will be able to take the job.”

It sounds like this could really be happening! What do you think of Charlie’s possible return to the show? Are you happy to hear his character could come back?  Do you think the show should take him back? Do you think he should be insulted that they fired him in the first place? Sound off below!

Too bad the survey didn’t include a “neither” option. What level has society sunk to that people condone the actions of a lunatic like this? Yet people say Mel Gibson’s career is over for his transgressions? And people keep coming back for the Lindsay Lohan train wreck? Crazy!

Sorry haters you’re wrong and besides he’s not hurting anyone.

Charlie is sizzling hot and the public is wrapped up in him.

But on a serious note Sheen must NOT go to Haiti at this time.

“most likely be on board…” Puhfrickinpuhlease…

Jon Cryer in in massive demand… for nothing.
That little twirp kid will be in jail in 6 years anyhow.
Half the crew would be doing porn without Sheen.

Oh, damn right they’ll be back.

According to the Daily Rash, Elizabeth Taylor challenged Charlie Sheen to try and “out-party” her! Don’t do it Charlie! http://www.thedailyrash.com/?p=6198

It’s “WOO”. Not “woe”. Good grief. It’s as if all the “writers” on this website only finished the 7th grade.

please, enough already. nobody but the vultures want to see him on tv anymore. let the man go to rehab instead of giving him all this press, which just fuels the fire. to give him this break just means that celebrities can break the rules and defy justice (which we already know–LiLo, anyone?) plus express biogtry and hatred for his bosses and coworkers. how can anyone even want to watch this mess? there is a condition for that, too.

Enough of all the Charlie Sheen news! It’s time for some Charlie Sheen parody. Check out “A Day in the Life of Charlie Sheen” on The Loop Now. You’ll be doing all the “winning.”
