Kelly lucked out — her kids ‘share and trade’ instead of fight! Isn’t that amazing?

Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford may be a single mother, but she has it easy with her 21-month-old daughter Helena and 4-year-old son Hermés. Instead of fighting every day like most siblings do, her two tots get a long great. In fact, Helena wants to be just like her older brother!

“Helena just wants to do everything that he is doing,” Kelly told HollyBaby.com exclusively at her autograph signing event at Eleni’s Chelsea Market Store in NYC on March 15. “Jumping, crawling — she really wants to know what he is up to all the time.”

“She runs around now saying his name. It’s like her favorite name — her brother’s name,” says Kelly. “She says, ‘Hermés, Hermés!’ It’s really sweet. And he gets that. We talk about that all the time.”

So Hermés to ever jealous of his baby sister? “I think a little bit in the beginning,” Kelly admits. “It was a change like most. But now they’re really cute.”

Now “they like to play games or sometimes they will just sit and watch a video together,” the proud mama says. “It’s really cute. She wants to go cuddle with him and he’s very good about it.”

And even if Hermés gets upset of Helena steels his toy, he handles the situation very maturely — especially for a 4-year-old boy! “I tell him to maybe give her something that she would want and that’s a nicer way to take back his toy,” says Kelly. “He gives her something she would like — it’s a trade.”

“They share and they take turns,” says Kelly.
