The viral video phenom sits down with ‘Good Morning America’ for a tough interview on her hit single ‘Friday,’ and proves she may just be the next big thing!

Rebecca Black may have become a national laughing stock with the release of her auto-tuned hit “Friday,” but her March 18 appearance on Good Morning America proved this is one teen who is ready to fire back at her haters! Rebecca sat down with Andrea Canning and responded to critiques of her song, which brought her to tears, including comments such as: “I hope you cut yourself and I hope you get an eating disorder.” The singer coolly and calmly answered tough questions from Andrea, proving she may just become a huge star!

The 13-year-old singer simply said of her haters, “It doesn’t bother me.” Her mother however felt a little more angry than her calm and composed daughter, saying of her daughter’s hateful critics: “In all honesty, I probably could have killed a few people.”

Rebecca, who looks like a blend of Demi Lovato and Lea Michele and hails from Orang County, Calif., also revealed her dream duet partner — Justin Bieber! “I have Bieber Fever,” she said in the interview. “I am love with Justin Bieber, that would be, oh my god, just thinking of it gives me butterflies.” Watch your back Selena Gomez!

Rebecca’s mother paid $2,000 to have her daughter record two songs with Ark Music Factory, one being “Friday,” after Rebecca managed to pass an audition for up and coming talent. Her second song, which has yet to be released, is more adult themed than the wholesome “Friday.”

In the end it is Rebecca who is having the last laugh however, with over 16 million having watched her video online! What’s more, her single is now beating out her fan favorite Justin on iTunes!

Check out Rebecca’s video above and let us know — do you like her more now after her interview?

Haters should stop hating Rebecca Black! She’s just living the dream. Don’t you haterz have something ’bout yourself that isn’t perfect? Think ’bout yourself haterz, instead of thinking that she isn’t a good singer. Hating is also bullying. Rebecca is just human and she has feelings and her fans do too.

Come on, its totally not a excuse to respect her because she is thirtheen.
Firstable, she’s a teenager, still goes to college.
She made the most ridiculous mistake ever in her intire life.
She quit for music, which she’s even not good at it AT ALL!
Think first before you do something, have the courage to post an video of yourself if you are a good singer, but do not disturb us with your frucking bad music skills. That’s how the world is apparently and she should know that instead of crying and taking revenge of her haters, she should wait until she knows what music actually is about.

To some people. she’s a good singer and even if she goes to college, she’s still young and she thought she’s a great singer so don’t judge. It is her voice.

You don’t just become a star by having a great personality. If that was the case, a lot of other people I know would be stars too. You have to actually be able to do something, besides paying people money to make you a ‘star’.

Good for her for firing back. Lots of haters out there. I did think Kyle Cease’s parody was really funny though.

I’d challenge you to write & record a better song and produce a better video for less than $2,000. Maybe you can be a star?

She isn’t a joke. She’s trying her best to become famous. People should respect her even if they think she’s a bad singer and there is an excuse because if you give threats to her it her her feelings and even her fans. She only thirteen and a lot of thirteen year olds had made lots of mistakes so what do you expect from her? She’s smart kind and pretty.

Stop letting out your anger on one little girl. She’s thirteen. Yes, maybe the song is hilariously bad, but she’s thirteen. I made terrible things when I was thirteen. She’s receiving threats from adults that are extremely damaging and scary. Stay strong, Rebecca Black.
