Martha’s presence causes major drama in Brent & Josh’s relationship!

Dr. Brent Ridge used to be vice president of healthy living for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, but now his former boss Martha is playing a major role in his relationship with his partner Josh Kilmer-Purcell. In the second season of their reality show The Fabulous Beekman Boys — which airs March 22 on Planet Green — Martha’s presence in episodes two and three send Brent into frenzy!

“We did a road trip down to North Carolina to pick up some new animals for the farm,” Brent tells during an exclusive interview. “We pick up these sheep and make them a little pasture in the back of a minivan. Hilarity ensues when we get to Martha’s house … “

At the mention of Martha’s name, Josh states: “Whenever Brent is around Martha, he turns into Martha again.”

“I have a crush on Martha,” replies Brent.

But it sounds like there is a deeper issue at hand. “It’s like she has super powers where it brings you back under the hold,” Josh tells Brent.

“She makes my life difficult, because whenever Brent and her are around, all of sudden Brent turns into Mr. Perfectionist,” Josh explains to us. “We have to go home and clean up the barn and everything.”

Season two of The Fabulous Beekman Boys will focus on how tough starting a new business has been on the couple’s relationship.

“We’re very competitive people — we’ve worked very hard this past year. We’ve had some things not as successful as we thought,” says Josh. “It’s been a really tough year.”

But Brent disagrees — “Any time you don’t have something, you appreciate it that much more when you do have it.”

Will absence really make Brent and Josh grow fonder of each other or grow farther apart? And will Martha’s involvement help their already questionable state?

Tune into the season premiere of The Fabulous Beekman Boys to find out!
