'Teen Mom 2' Jenelle Evans & Kailyn Lowry Paid Less Than Amber Portwood! Exclusive!

Sources tell HollyBaby.com that Jenelle and Kailyn are struggling with their meager ‘Teen Mom’ salaries!

The Teen Mom 2 cast has been ripped off! MTV is paying the original stars of Teen Mom a ton more than the Teen Mom 2 girls! While Amber Portwood rakes in $280,000 a year, HollyBaby.com has confirmed that Teen Mom 2 stars Jenelle Evans and Kailyn Lowry are making dramatically less — at $9,000 for the season!

“Things with Jenelle aren’t good. She has no money and can’t find a job,” as source very close to Jenelle tells us. “She is making around $9,000 for her first 12 episodes of Teen Mom 2, season 1.”

Another source close to Kailyn shares with us the same amount: “Kailyn is also making around the same $9,000 mark!”

While these new Teen Moms may have much lower salaries than the original cast, they are only in their first season. The big salary bump will most likely come when — and if — they film a second season.

And while Jenelle and Kailyn seem to be drowning financially, they still have other ways they can make money — like selling their stories and pictures, working other jobs and writing books. Kailyn has even said that she is considering coming out with her own manual for moms in situations similar to hers.

I watch teen mom from Australia, I think it’s rubbish that they don’t get paid equally although the original cast was more popular. I do think these girls deserve to get paid. I for one as a mum wouldn’t be pleased having cameras follow me around even until I go to bed. Good on them for having the courage to allow strangers and what seems to be a vast population of te world into their homes and lives. Let’s be realistic, IDE prefer to see them paid so they can provide for their children than the cast or jersey or geordie shore which would only provide for a ridiculous lifestyle.

Of course they should be paid regardless what there situation is! They are still being followed around with video cameras airing all their dirty laundry for the nation and possibly the world to see. These girls should be paid like any other reality star. It’s ridiculous that people have a problem that these teen mothers can make money off of their situation. They need money. Teen pregnancies will continue with or without this show.

thats pathetic yeah they are teen moms i live like 30 mins from kailyn i feel bad or her cause i know where jo lives in a nice development but what about us older single moms who have it worse then thesee teen moms? why dont we have a show? the only difference is or ages! macy an the first cast minus ambers pathetic self come from money! but choose not to finish or go to school. kailyn is the only one i feel for!

MTV is taking advantage of them and if they attempt to get a pay raise, they will be fired. MTV is well known for their slave labor rates. Mark my word, as soon as they make demands for more money “Teen Mom 3″ will start and pay the new girls less.
