Pregnant Jewel Feels 'Blessed' To Be Alive After Her Scary Car Accident

The singer is confident that her car saved her and her unborn baby boy’s life. What a miracle!

Mommy-to-be Jewel had quite the scare March 11 when a fire truck hit the passenger side of her car. But now, the singer, 36, is just happy she and her baby boy-to-be are OK.

“Everything is fine-me & the baby r ok- thanx 4 all your thoughts & prayers,” she tweeted. “1 thing I do know is my car saved my & baby’s life-definitely going 2 get another Cadillac SRX! It absorbed all the damage & kept me safe!” What a relief.

Jewel is now resting at home with her husband Ty Murray, 41, who was not in the car with her when the accident happened.

“Dr said no working out — so I’m going to take it easy this weekend,” she wrote. “Just a little sore and banged up — but feeling so blessed this morning. “

We’re so happy Jewel and baby-to-be are OK – and we pray for her speedy recovery!
