'Breaking Dawn' Is Costing $263 Million To Make — That Is Some Serious Cash!

It looks like making the final two installments of the ‘Twilight’ saga is costing some serious cash — will it be worth it?

Breaking Dawn better hope to carry on in the profitable tradition of its three Twilight predecessors as the film is costing a pretty penny to produce. TheWrap reports, “Summit’s two coming blockbusters, “Breaking Dawn 1 and 2 will cost $263 million — not the $200 million previously reported — and are projected to bring in a staggering $1.2 billion for the studio.” Whoa!

Part of this goes to the hefty salaries stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will be taking home. Each is set to receive a very nice $12.5 million for their work. Not too shabby!

What do you think HollywoodLifers — will Breaking Dawn make back its money?

‘Twilight’ is A cinematic disease that needs to stop! And Summit has the gaul to spend THIS much money?!? Those no talent faggots aren’t worth that much!!! Also, MTV, and E! News constantly gushes over this so called ‘franchise’ because they are hell bent on telling little girls that teen pregnancy is A-OKay, and that personal responsibility is for fringe extremists!

Breaking Dawn will most definitely make back the $263 million dollars being spent, it will surpass it. I’m so excited about this movie, it is my favorite book of the series. Can’t wait for the wedding and the honeymoon scenes.

You forgot to mention that Robert and Kristen will make another 2.5% as they also negociated, a part of the profits…Which could give them 16 million more each…I know, Robert did not want anymore money than the offer, but said he would only sign back on if Taylor made the same, and so he did – the 2.5%. When they were not going to cast Taylor for New Moon, both Rob and Kris again said they would not sign back on if Taylor was not apart of New Moon.Nice friends.
