I’m so glad it was Ashton, although I don’t really like Paul. I know he wasn’t in the bottom 3, but his time is coming soon! He’s the worst. I like your bi-coastal battle and I’m looking forward to the next episode.

okay guys, i actually watched naima;s and scotty’s performance from last night before watching the results… naima is so not my style, but i actually thought she did a good job. in fact, to my surprise, i was less impressed with scotty. his voice needs a lot of work, if you ask me. his voice isn’t showing any range. he’s great deep, but the rest isn’t doing it for me and sounds very shaky. he didn’t kill that song, AT ALL. it was “just a’right dawg” fo sho- and i’m worried about his stage presence. not a smooth operator. love you scotty, but you are a stiff cowboy for real.

lol… for the record, my daughter does a similar fist pumping thing, only it’s “high-ya, high-ya, high-ya”. three chops, and done. ignoring all substance, kirstin, love the “divas can actually sing” and “we’re not going to need to remember it” comments… hahahaha… so true. i feel bad for ashthon tho, b/c i do think she has something, but she’s not there yet. i feel like if she worked on her voice for another year or two, she really could be a superstar b/c she is sort of fearless in what she takes on and how she commands the stage. but, her voice isn’t there, and her artistry isn’t there- what she brings to the song to make it ashthon’s… needs a lot more work. i understand the bitterness, and i liked kendra, but actually think i was more interested by the “young bette midler” cleaning lady (julie?)… in either case, either of them would’ve been more interesting to me than the yawner ashthon performed… andy, you need to get with the program and start feeling the country! also, garth’s songs have always grabbed the attention even of non-country fans, no? am i delusional? c’mon now! i didn’t have time to watch naima and scotty last night, so i can’t really speak to his performance… but after seeing naima’s getup and hearing your comments, i’m dying to go see the mess she made- in a looky-loo kinda way.
