Christina, who battled breast cancer in 2008, wasn’t looking to get pregnant, but now that her daughter Sadie has arrived, she couldn’t imagine her life without her.
Who knew! Christina Applegate, 39, admitted on The Tonight Show recently that her 1-month-old daughter Sadie Grace wasn’t necessarily a part of her life plan. She couldn’t believe what she saw as she stared down at her at home pregnancy test. “I was in shock,” the Hall Pass star tells Jay Leno. “I stood [looking] at this thing going, ‘This is wrong.’ And I stared at it for a really long time before I shared the information with the other half.” But now, the shock has turned to absolute baby joy!
She was “kind of a surprise baby,” Christina admits, but she’s “the best surprise I’ve ever gotten.” Aww!
Christina who calls Sadie her “little peanut,” shares that she’s always loved the name ‘Sadie.’ “When I was a kid, I was obsessed with The Beatles song, ‘Sexy Sadie,'” she says, jokingly, “I know you don’t hear that and think ‘That’s what I want to name my baby,’ but I just love that name.”
The actress, who battled breast cancer in 2008 and underwent a double mastectomy (but did not get chemo or radiation), has said that her daughter with fiance Martyn LeNoble, 41, is her “miracle baby.”
