Firing Charlie Sheen From 'Two And A Half Men' Was Strategic! Exclusive!

Charlie may have just been let go from his show, but insiders say the producers want it to go on—with Charlie as the star!

Cast members on Two and a Half Men are being told to remain “on hold” for shooting—because execs want the sitcom to come back with Charlie Sheen at the helm!

Sources tell HollywoodLife.com exclusively the show is making too much money for all parties involved for it to be cancelled, so CBS and Warner Bros. termination of his contract is only a tactical maneuver to get Charlie back!

Behind the scenes, parties are still trying to figure out how the cast will be compensated for this shortened season.

Let’s be honest — Two and a Half Men can’t function without Charlie on the cast, and the show makes SO MUCH money for everyone involved. No matter how crazy Charlie gets, he is irreplaceable!

Let’s face it. Charlie’s character in the show — “Charlie” — is loosely based on Charlie Sheen. They couldn’t replace him and have it still be the same show. Unless Sheen is brought back, the show is over, for good.

Now the producers are likely too egotistical to care. They can continue to make buttloads of cash off of the re-runs, and let the prime-time slot go to a new show. From their point of view they could have only squeezed a couple more seasons out of the show before they had to change the name from “Two and a Half Men” to “Three Men” as Jake is practically an adult now.

I second that. You fired Charlie. The show is dead.
