Happy Birthday, James Van Der Beek! The Dawson’s Creek alum has had a busy couple of months — appearing on a variety of TV shows including How I Met Your Mother and Mercy, getting married to his girlfriend Kimberly Brook, 28, and welcoming a new daughter, 6-month-old Olivia! Wow, what else? Ke$ha’s music video for “Blow!”

The teen hearthrob appeared in Ke$ha’s video to much of everyone’s surprise, but we enjoyed it!

Next, James will get ready for little Olivia to grow up, which he is not looking forward to. Why, you may ask? BOYS! “What I’m going to do is I’m going to play, right when she’s around 10 or 13, I’m going to play the scariest, most bad ass villian role ever,” James tells Hollybaby.com at the Global Green Pre-Oscar Party, ”like the scariest mofo that you have ever seen and I’ll target it right towards her age demographic so that when I open the door for the kid, he’ll be like, “Oh my GOD, its the Terminator!”
