A role on a hit show, a Chanel campaign, two Vogue covers, and now this?
Is Blake Lively the luckiest girl in the world or what? Not only was her gorgeous Chanel campaign revealed during Paris Fashion Week, but the Gossip Girl was spotted shopping and strolling out of the Chanel store with her new BFF Christian Louboutin. Considering he named one of his red soled shoes after the blonde bombshell, I’m not surprised to see them together — but shopping? During Fashion Week?! I didn’t think they were that close!
The friendship between Blake and the designer blossomed when she was in town filming Gossip Girl and attending the couture shows. After taking a tour of Paris on the back of Christian’s Vespa, a few days later the designer named a shoe after the star after she admired one of his sketches — I guess the star isn’t shy when it comes to making fashionable friends!
Also along for some fun in Paris yesterday were Blake’s parents. The designer reportedly treated Blake to a private fitting on Mar. 6. While the star was absent from the Chanel show, she hosted a dinner celebrating her campaign with the brand.
