Happy Birthday, Shaquille O'Neal! You're 39 Today, March 6!

The seven foot basketballer is celebrating his birthday today! One year ’till the big 4-0 Shaq!

Shaquille O’Neal is known for his size, and his basketball skills, but he’s also a rapper, a reality star and a mixed martial artist! And of course his most important role is playing Dad to his five kids. Shaq was married to Shaunie Nelson from December 2002 to November 2009 and the couple have four children together, Shareef, 10, Amirah, 8, Shaqir, 7, and Me’arah, 4.

He is also the stepdad to Shaunie’s son Myles, 12, and he has a biological daughter, Taahirah, 13, from another relationship. Any little basketballers in that bunch?

“What most people don’t know about (Shaquille) is what a great dad he is,” Mindy Weiss, the party-planner who organized a baby shower for him said. “He loves having lots of children, and I think he’d like to have more.”

Hmm, we’ll just have to wait and see if his new girlfriend Nikki “Hoopz” Alexander is up for the task. Happy Birthday, Shaq!
