Willow Smith co-hosts today’s Oprah Winfrey Show—it’s her Most Talented Kids episode! But did Willow diss Oprah?? Some audience members thought so!
Oprah‘s show today features really smart and talented kids—and Willow Smith, 10, gets to co-host! Willow performs her hit song, Whip My Hair and Lenny Kravitz also makes a surprise appearance. But some audience members who attended the taping were tweeting and blogging from the studio, and a few thought that Willow‘s tone was “disrespectful” when speaking to Oprah. Really??? Not cool, Willow! You’ve gotta give Oprah her respect!
At one point, Oprah asks Willow what her closet looks like, and Willow responds by shaking her head and saying, “Girrrllll.” Author Terry McMillan recently caused a controversy by saying about Willow and her brother, Jaden, 12, “There’s an arrogance to their demeanor and behavior.” So do you think Willow’s precocious behavior is rude or cute?

Such bad manners! Not surprised though. People who are nouveau riche just have the money, but don’t know how to behave. Considering her obnoxious parents, their open and dysfunctional marriage, and Jada’s weird parenting (apparently she thinks her kids are her equals – which explains why Willow seems to think Oprah is her equal), I’m not surprised at this kid’s arrogant behavior. Some people don’t think it’s important to raise little girls to behave like respectful children and future ladies.
