The woman watched as her young daughter attacked the girl in a parking lot. And the fight was caught on tape. When will the bullying end?
This is just wrong. Aneshia Cartret, 46, of Columbus County, North Carolina, drove her teenage daughter Shelby to a fight with another girl and then stayed to watch it, egging her on as the two girls hit, smacked and pulled each other’s hair in a shopping centre parking lot. After the two teens exchanged spiteful comments on Facebook, they decided the best way to settle their argument was to beat each other up, and obviously, Aneshia agreed. The whole fight was caught on video.
According to officers with the Wilmington Police Department, due to her involvement with the inappropriate fight, Aneshia was charged with contributing to delinquency of a juvenile. And now, the employee of South Columbus High School, could lose her job and reputation. And she probably deserves it, too. What kind of mother (or teacher) encourages this kind of behavior?
And the sad thing is, Aneshia wasn’t the only one there egging on the girls. In fact there were 30 to 40 bystanders cheering the girls on as they attacked each other on the concrete lot. One a police officer arrived to the scene, everyone scattered and drove off, except for Aneshia. He caught her and her daughter, who was bleeding from her head and arm, in the car and asked if the girl needed medical attention. Aneshia said no.
Aneshia was arrested two days later, but was released from jail an hour later on $25,000 bail. She will face charges in court on April 12.
