We already know Lindsay Lohan, 24, is facing jail time for violating her probation and allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace — but TMZ now claims the surveillance tape from Kamofie & Company proves Lindsay may not have intended to take it after all!
Here’s what the surveillance tape reveals, according to the new report:
- She first took off her own necklace in order to try on the new one.
- She wore it for 45 minutes in “plain view.”
- She and the owner chatted for several minutes, necklace in plain sight, before she walked out.
- She put her own necklace back on before leaving, but the report says the store’s necklace was still visible.

Just a week ago everyone was saying, ‘She is so guilty!’ Now, all of a sudden, maybe she isn’t? Her publicist/attorneys are working around-the-clock on this one to get her off the hook yet again. Whether she stole it, took it, borrowed it, whatever, her career is over. The next headline will be: Lindsay Lohan Runs Over Grandmother & Kids! Only then is she going to see the inside of a jail.
