Lindsay wants to redeem her reputation so that she can get back to work — but she knows she must prove she can make it all the way through a shoot. Even Lindsay has her doubts!
Lindsay Lohan has started taking the first strides on the long trek to trying to rebuild her once-promising Hollywood career. “I know there’s going to be a lot of steps I’ll have to go through to prove myself again and get the trust from people I respect to work with,” Lindsay tells Extra. “But I’m willing to do what I have to do to get there.”
“I miss being on set,” Lindsay says. “I really do miss it.”
Lindsay knows that it won’t be an easy road. “I need to prove that I can be insurable again, because I don’t think I am right now,” she admits.
LiLo has to convince the insurance companies that back actors while filming that she’s not a liability. She says this is the first step to getting back into the film industry.
Lindsay’s apologetic interview doesn’t erase the fact that she’s battling grand-theft charges for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Venice, Calif., jewelry store. If she is found guilty, pleads no contest to the charges or accepts a plea deal, she will face jail time again.
Lindsay doesn’t discuss her current troubles with the law during the two-part Extra interview — which airs March 1 and 2 on NBC. But she did poke fun at the case while taping the hilarious Hottie Bodies Humpilates skit on Feb. 25 for Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
