marccartwright.comShe may only be 5-months-old, but James’ daughter Olivia is going to have a hard time snagging a boyfriend!

There are some overprotective dads out there — one being Dawson’s Creek alum James Van Der Beek. His daughter Olivia, with wife Kimberly Brook, might only be 5-months-old, but she is in for it come dating time. James, 33, tells us that he plans on scaring the crap out of all her future suitors!

“What I’m going to do is I’m going to play, right when she’s around 10 or 13, I’m going to play the scariest, most bad ass villian role ever,” James tells Hollybaby.com at the Global Green Pre-Oscar Party, “like the scariest mofo that you have ever seen and I’ll target it right towards her age demographic so that when I open the door for the kid, he’ll be like, “Oh my GOD, its the Terminator!” Wow, sounds a bit over the top their James. Olivia might not like that come her pre-teen years.

But as Kimberly, 28, says, that time in Olivia’s life is “years away,” so for now the couple is focused on one thing — getting some shut-eye! “What’s sleep?” Kimberly says, while her husband implies, “She gets more than I do!” Ouch! Touchy subject?

“I get more than you do?!” Kimberly laughs. “You get less than I do! I actually said the opposite of what I meant,” James says, laughing. “I am up feeding her every two hours! I’m sure it’s me.” “Wow,” James confesses, “I blew it.”

This sounds like the typical new parent bickering to us! Don’t worry guys, you’ll be sleeping soundly soon.
