Andy Says: Charice Beat Justin Bieber For Best New Artist Award & She Deserves It!

She’s guest starred on ‘Glee,’ performed with Celine Dion, and now she’s dominated the Biebs. Is there anything Charice can’t do?

Charice and Justin Bieber are once again making headlines together — but this time, it’s not for a potential collaboration. Charice, 18, won the J-Wave Tokio Hot 100 Award for Best New Artist on Feb. 24 in Japan, beating out Justin and fellow nominees Bruno Mars, Ke$ha and Orianthi.

it would be nice to see charice and bieb to do a duet. charice is a great singer as well as justin. anyway, i’m not a die hard fan of charice but i think she deserves the award.

i think both of these artists are very talented at what they do. Justin and Charice should do a song together it would be awesome!!!! Even though i LOVE justin, i would not mind if charice won the award because she deserves it just as much as he does:)

I is an award for best western New Artist Actually. None of the Artist’s were considered Asian Artists including Charice as her album were produced by a Western Company.. I hope it make sense.

“Being Asian for asian awards”, I totally agree, First, Charice isn’t the only one is asian, Bruno Mars is a lso filipino….maybe Charice just won because she’s way better and popular than justin bieber in Japan

Thx for pointing that out…I doubt u were questioning the integrity of the awards. I mean the award could’ve gone to the all girl Japanese band nominated. And I guess u knew u can substantiate ur comment by pointing out that last year the recipient for best new artist went to Lady Gaga…good for u!
