Teenage drinking! Drunk dialing! ‘Glee’ seemed like a real show this week with things normal people actually do!
Just when you think that Glee truly believes all teenagers do is sing at the Gap and scheme ways to ruin the lives of others (well, that’s kind of true), they come back with an awesome episode full of drinking, spin the bottling and drunk dialing. Everyone won, and lost, on this episode.
For starters, the episode high point was of course the amazing, and drunken, version of “Don’t You Want Me Baby” by Blaine (Darren Criss) and Rachel (Lea Michele) that lead to a drunken kiss between the gleek and the now bisexual (?) Warbler. Needles to say young Kurt (Chris Colfer) was none to happy. Can we get this poor kid a man?
You see, Rachel’s dads are on a Rosie O’Donnell cruise (those still exist), and Puck has convinced the knee-sock-loving lass to throw a party. HBIC Santana (Naya Rivera) makes it clear she will not be attending unless there are wine coolers. We really wish we had a friend like Santana in high school.
Things go from drunken fun to drunken mess quick but there are some great scenes in between, mainly seeing Brittany’s (Heather Morris) incredible body. Damn!
The olds aren’t faring much better this week and Mr. Scue (Matthew Morrison) and Coach Beiste also enjoy imbibing some booze, after debating whether to be mad at the youngins for their boozey ways. This leads to bad singing and even worse — drunk dialing!
The highlight/low point of the episode however is when young Rachel asks Blaine on a date and he accepts. We know hoave a bisexual in America’s favorite stunt cast show! It’s becoming like product placement guys so we can’t wait to see what’s next!
