LAURA'S LOVE ADVICE: Is Having Sex In Public Like Scott & Kourtney Did A Good Way To Spice Up Your Love Life?

Sure, it’s hot — but is sexing in public a smart way to keep your love alive or are there better, less adventurous options?

It’s always the quiet ones…If you were shocked to see the usually mild-mannered Kourtney Kardashian having sexuals in public on last night’s episode of Kim & Kourtney Take New York, you’re not alone (that’s more Khloe‘s style). But is doing the deed with baby daddy Scott Disick where others might catch them a hot move — or one that smacks of desperation?

So Scott is definitely proving he’s less and less of a wet blanket this season by suggesting he and Kourtney try something new and fresh…like getting it on in the gym of the Smyth Hotel in TriBeCa (remind me never to work out there…like, ever). Although the two manage to get away with their frisky behavior once, they aren’t as successful the second time around when they attempt bathroom sex — and get caught, which isn’t as awkward as it sounds.

The fear of getting caught is part of the allure when you’re doing something you shouldn’t, like having a private sexual moment in public. So yes, this is one amazing way of spicing up your love life — and your relationship in general.

Keeping things fresh sexually when you’ve been together as long as Kourtney and Scott have is tough. They’re young enough — she’s 31, he’s 27 — that sex is an important part of their relationship, and established enough — they’ve been together so long that they even have a child together — that they don’t need to think about only when and where they’ll be getting their rocks off next.

The desire to have a saucy love life is incredibly important, and I hate to say it, a good way to prevent a man from straying. Of course, if he’s a good guy, he wouldn’t dream of looking for sexual satisfaction elsewhere. Although he appears to have turned over a new leaf, I’m not entirely convinced that Scott is as nice as he seems.

Also worrying is that after getting caught — which could have been viewed as exciting or an embarrassing secret that bonded the two together further — Kourtney turned around and told her baby daddy she couldn’t be so immature because of her new and serious role as a mom. Forget an engagement — I predict a breakup in this couple’s future.

But should YOU pull a Kourtney and Scott by getting horizontal with your man in public? To each her own, really. But if you want to keep the love alive (sexually, of course) I can only think of three better ways to keep his interest — and those aren’t printable here! Bottom line: try it. What do you have to lose other than some dignity?

These Kardashians seem willing to do anything for publicity.

“What do you have to lose other than some dignity?” Indecent exposure is a crime. Promoting a crime is – very much like your advice most of the time – really stupid.

What about the rights of innocent bystanders? This was the issue recently when a noted black pop-singer stripped naked and laid down on the X where President Kennedy was killed. They are being grossly inconsiderate of others, possibly even against children, like in the Badu example. This side effect of something they share has a distinct anti-social tinge to it.
