Britney’s latest video was practically a commercial — and it sounds like Katy is holding it against her!
We at HollywoodLife.com apparently aren’t the only ones baffled by the absurd amount of product placement in Britney Spears‘ latest video, “Hold It Against Me.” Katy Perry recently tweeted her own concerns about artists who haphazardly feature brand names on camera. But the question is: Was she just making a general statement, or was she targeting Miz Spears?
“What is consensus on product placement in videos?” singer Marina Diamandis tweeted Feb. 18. “As a fan, do you prefer product placement if it means bigger budget vid?”
“do it w/style & grace…Not so in ur face like some,” Katy tweeted in response. “U hv to get creative w/it. Some artists don’t care tho, & u can tell.”
Katy was smart not to name any names… but considering the major buzz surrounding Brit’s total abuse of product placement in “Hold It Against Me” (she reportedly earned around $500,000 from advertisers) who else could “some artists” be referring to?

Oh please,
How dare she show
off her brand new
“Radience”
perfume bottle and
Sony tv’s!
Sony is related to RCA
or something, a new company
that Britney signed on to.
Of course she has to advertise it
because for like 15 years, she’s been with Zomba/Jive.
Katy Perry is plain old ridiculous
running around with her stupid
blue wigs. Total character.
