Heather Russell, became a YouTube sensation after her mom posted a video of her singing her original song “You’re Beautiful,” which she wrote on the piano at 8-years-old. Now her new song “Every Step of the Way” has the likes of Simon Cowell snatching her up on his record label. Move over Justin Bieber, there’s a new young star in town!

Although Simon usually signs people off his reality shows, like the upcoming X Factor, the music mogul offered Heather a contract solely based on a few YouTube videos. Now that’s impressive.
