We got to chat with the designer after his show, where he told us he thinks Katy is the perfect girl to work the gown…cape and all!
From the interesting get-ups and colored pigtails on the models to the star-studded front row, the Jeremy Scott show was full of fun — it’s no surprise why stars like Katy Perry and Kanye West love to show off his looks!
One of the most interesting get-ups was definitely the finale frock — a long-sleeved Superman gown complete with a red cape! When we got to chat with the designer backstage, we were dying to know who he thinks would look best in the dress.
“Katy Perry! I mean Katy [Perry] loves paying homage to the Superheroes,” he said. “I wanted to capture the spirit of going out to a club and making a big entrance with the train.”
Thanks to sweaters with capes (not to mention the elaborate finale gown) now everyone can be a Superhero! “I like how it adds a little bit of theatricality to your daywear.”
