Plus, Sam tells us a second season pickup for ‘Being Human’ is ‘looking really good!’

Sam Witwer has never heard of Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder), but as TV’s newest vampire on SyFy’s Being Human, he tells HollywoodLife.com he would “definitely win” if Damon ever went fang-to-fang with his character, Aidan Turner. Little does Sam know, Aidan and Damon actually have something pretty significant in common…

They’re both working through some major emotional baggage! “The goal is for [Aidan] to have a healthy, normal relationship with a person,” Sam says of his fanged persona. “But is he ready for that yet? We’ll see as the season progresses. Mistakes are made, accidents happen. It’s nasty business.”

And here’s more good news for fans of Being Human (and Sam.) He says the show hasn’t officially been picked up for a second season, but he tells us “it’s looking good!”

Sam also took the time to answer questions you guys sent me on Twitter. Here are my top three:

Why aren’t you on Twitter?

“I’m not sure I totally understand it,” Sam admits. “I never want to let my fans down, but there aren’t enough hours in the day to get things done. …  I’ve had a few people tell me I should join, but we’ll see. I may very well at some point. Never say never.”

Are there any plans for a Star Wars: Force Unleashed movie?

“If they really wanted to do a movie, I’d be so up for it,” Sam tells us. “I’ve really enjoyed working for Lucasfilm, be it for the Force Unleashed games, or The Clone Wars. I’ve really, really been loving it. The Clone Wars gig was ridiculously fun, and I can’t wait to show my buddies the final installment.”

What product do you put in your hair? (Don’t mock me — you asked it!)

“It comes in a little gray container,” Sam says. “It’s whatever they have on the set. Redkin… something… I’m not really sure. Who really knows what’s in this stuff?”
