Happy Birthday, Sheryl Crow! You're 49 Today, February 11!

This Grammy winning musician and songwriter is one of our favorite single moms! We can’t believe she’s turning 49 — she looks incredible!

Sheryl Crow has had yet another wonderful year. Aside from releasing her seventh studio album 100 Miles to Memphis in July 2010, the singer added a new addition to her family. This past June she adopted another little boy named Levi, who joined big brother Wyatt, 3. She is an inspriation to all those single women out there who want to be a mom — you don’t need a man to start a family.

“I always knew I wanted to be a mom; it was just a matter of when,” Sheryl tells Redbook Magazine. “I’d just been through a pretty painful breakup where there were kids involved, and I’d also been through breast cancer treatment. After that, I felt an acute sense of urgency about how I wanted my life to feel. Since I wasn’t married, my idea of what the picture was supposed to look like no longer served any great purpose.” We hope Sheryl and her boys have a wonderful day together! Happy Birthday!
