Many girls worship Biebs, but his new movie reveals how Justin looks to God for answers!

Justin Bieber‘s movie Justin Bieber: Never Say Never documents the singer’s rise to fame and hectic life on the road, but it also focuses on the role Biebs’ Christian faith has in his life!

“People will walk away [from the movie] knowing faith is very important to him,” Justin’s manager Scooter Braun tells USA Today. “As a Christian, he’s someone to look up to. … When [fans] are getting the real person is when they can connect to that person.”

Several scenes in the film feature Bieber praying before concerts and frank conversations with his mother Pattie Mallette about her life dictated by born-again Christianity.

Paramount Pictures has even held special screenings across the country for spiritual leaders and distributed faith-based literature to start discussion and appeal to religious families. The studio says the film “provides an opportunity to teach our children about the power of hope, prayer, faith and family,” with a focus on “the power of prayer” and “the importance of Godly friendships.” It even lists applicable bible verses to reference after watching the movie.

Justin has always been vocal about his religious convictions: one of his hit singles is called “Pray,” he wrote about his faith in the book First Step 2 Forever: My Story, and has peppered quotes such as “I believe that Jesus died on a cross for my sins. He’s the reason that I’m here,” into interviews.

We’re so happy Justin has found a solid foundation in his religion while rising to fame — maybe that’s how he stays so down-to-earth!
