Lindsay Lohan This Is No Way To Dress To Go To Court — So Inappropriate!

Do you think you are heading out to a club Lindsay? This outfit is completely unacceptable!

Lindsay, you are yet again in court, now facing felony theft charges, and wearing your most inappropriate outfit EVER! For your charging you wore a super tight, and super short, white dress that one would more likely wear to a bar or club! You clearly still have NO respect for the legal system of court!

How hard would it be to just throw a blazer over this, even though the length would still be a problem? This sends a clear message to the court — even after months in jail your have not learned anything.

Robin Sax, Criminal Lawyer and Former LA Deputy DA/Prosecutor, completely agrees that Lindsay’s outfit was not a smart choice for court. “I think that she was absolutely inappropriately dressed for court,” Robin tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “There’s kind of a piece of sentimental witness advice that lawyers give to their clients — wear what you would wear to church or a job interview!”

Lindsay failed to do this! “I think she looked beautiful,” says Robin. “[But she looked] really pretty for lunch at the polo lounge or an afternoon celebrity brunch or a dinner party — not court.”

Robin also agrees that wearing white can be a good idea, but Lindsay just didn’t do it right. Like we said, Robin thinks that Lindsay could have thrown a jacket over the tight dress to seem more appropriate. “Every time you’re in front of a court, you are selling your case,” explains Robin. “This is a courtroom where you want some decorum.”

Lastly, “the people who are watching television, reading the newspapers and blogs, are potential jurors,” notes Robin. “Anybody who sits here and watches this stuff is going to see how she has behaved. It was not appropriate for what she was doing!”

Put on a suit and show some respect Lindsay!

What do you think HollywoodLifers?

this is complete b.s., the judge should step down and l.l. should go back to jail for v.o.p.! why does she get a free ride and thousands of REGULAR people have to face the music. this makes me sick at a broken, greedy system.

I think they should take her dressing seriously because this same thing happened to a 16 year old girl who appeared court downtown brooklyn and they judge send the girl to jail. Its not right.

Regardless of what your opinion of our justice system may be, if your presence in court is required that effectively means that your life is in the hands of someone else, and as such, a prudent individual would behave judiciously by taking all necessary steps to ensure successful resolution of the matter.

Yes, we lawyers and judges can be highly critical in regard to what many of you would consider a trivial matter. While I agree that wearing the proper attire is a diminutive factor, yet the cliché that a person has only one chance to make a good first impression holds true, and therefore why jeopardize your chance for a favorable outcome. Whether you agree with it or not makes no difference, because we hold the courtroom in high regard, and as such it would be in the best interest of any defendant to conform to our standards of what constitutes respectability. As an attorney, I advise my clients on the proper attire to wear for the proceedings because it increases the probability of obtaining a favorable verdict.

Incidentally, when I observe the actions of many individuals during court proceedings (either through their attire or body language etc.), I am never surprised when the judge fails to show leniency. Yes, her dress is cute, but inappropriate given the circumstances and suggests a lack of respect for both the judge and the judicial system in general. With this in mind, if those of you who find nothing wrong with her choice of dress ever end up in a similar situation, do yourself a favor and do not follow in her footsteps.

“Inappropriate for the court.”

Given what the US Court system has been doing to people lately, I’m surprised that people don’t go in NAKED to show that they’ve been getting SCREWED OVER by the court system even chance possible!

The court system is NO LONGER about JUSTICE, it’s about who has the most money and who is paying off whom! That’s right – I’m calling it all a SHAM!

I have NO idea what’s wrong with what Lindsay is wearing. Actually, I think she looks VERY appropriate. When I saw the title of this article I imagined, “OMG. Did Lindsay go with some super short shorts and a hoochie top?!” This is a very nice dress. Long sleeves, hair picked up in a pony tail, and barely any make-up. I think she looks kind of professional actually. Oh yeah, and very nice shoes, too.

I totally agree! I can’t figure out what’s so inappropriate about her dress. It’s long-sleeved and covers her up to her neck! Sure, it’s not ankle length, but I think it’s longer than some of the skirts I see girls wearing on campus. The material seems pretty thick; nothing’s showing or poking through. It’s not like she’s wearing frigging latex for crying out loud!

Obviously you don’t read TMZ Online. The Judge is NOT a man and was NOT impressed. She really came down hard on Lindsay in court.

Oops! My bad! I had the Prosecutor confused with Judge Schwartz who was, last time I checked, a dude. Sorry! You need a dictionary with the character’s names to keep up with all the legal trials this gal has been involved in over the years. Sorry Judge Schwartz.

She looks fine, whoever the grandmother is who wrote this article is totally out of touch with 2011. It’s a shame this pretty and talented smartass never seems to learn, it’s a waste of her life!

When this girl commits suicide because of how badly you homosexual/catty bloggers beat her up, I hope you have problems sleeping at night.

She’s 24 years old. She’s barely an adult. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Aside from being too short, I don’t really see a problem. Fully covered arms, no plunging neckline, not see-through. Yeah, it’s skin tight, but it’s not like you have to wear a garbage bag to court.
