We always ask how Charlie gets away with his ridiculous behavior, but know we know why — he’s a people’s man!
Charlie Sheen may be rambunctious, problematic, unprofessional and an addict, but he sure is charismatic — especially when it comes to “his people.” According to TMZ, the 45-year-old actor has offered to pay the crew of his hit sitcom, Two and a Half Men, during the show’s hiatus for Charlie’s time in rehab. How nice is that?
Reports TMZ, “We’re told Charlie is upset that Warner Bros. and show creator Chuck Lorre have not offered to pay the crew for the downtime, so he’s made an offer to pay 1/3 of the crew salaries if Warner Bros. and CBS each pay 1/3 as well.”
That said, Charlie reportedly wants to go back to work next week, but insiders are saying no one is ready for that and the show might start shooting again the end of February.
HollywoodLife.com has not received a response from CBS higher ups about the situation. However, TMZ says they claim they haven’t been asked to pay any of the crew’s wages at this time and that they wish Charlie nothing but the best in his recovery.
