We always ask how Charlie gets away with his ridiculous behavior, but know we know why — he’s a people’s man!

Charlie Sheen may be rambunctious, problematic, unprofessional and an addict, but he sure is charismatic — especially when it comes to “his people.” According to TMZ, the 45-year-old actor has offered to pay the crew of his hit sitcom, Two and a Half Men, during the show’s hiatus for Charlie’s time in rehab. How nice is that?

Reports TMZ, “We’re told Charlie is upset that Warner Bros. and show creator Chuck Lorre have not offered to pay the crew for the downtime, so he’s made an offer to pay 1/3 of the crew salaries if Warner Bros. and CBS each pay 1/3 as well.”

That said, Charlie reportedly wants to go back to work next week, but insiders are saying no one is ready for that and the show might start shooting again the end of February. has not received a response from CBS higher ups about the situation. However, TMZ says they claim they haven’t been asked to pay any of the crew’s wages at this time and that they wish Charlie nothing but the best in his recovery.

Nevertheless, now we understand why Charlie gets away with drugs, porn stars and abuse…at the end of the day, he looks out for those closest to him!

he’s is 100% of the reason they are not getting their salary, so why should he only pay 1/3 of their salary, get to look like the good guy, while causing cbs and wb to not only lose what they would make for producing a product, but also to pay for 2/3 of the salaries? don’t get me wrong- i don’t feel bad for cbs and wb who should’ve ditched sheen a long time ago instead of taking advantage of a sick man’s dollar appeal- however, this is hardly an admirable move by sheen. if he’s so gd concerned, he should pay 100% of their salaries.

Um he has no responsibility to pay them. First, he’s hired after they know his history, he just got a new contract where there is no loophole apparently. This is very nice of him though. The cast/crew loovvve him. This must be why.

This is where insurance which they have comes in.

Great comment. I couldn’t have said it better myself & agree 100%. I luv his show & can’t see anyone playing his part. It fits him like a glove. To Charlie I say..(well I can only speak for myself, but if you leave the show I will miss you but understand if you don’t return. You made that show, & them gazillions of $$. Yes, 3 million is unhesard of BUT compared to what they are making OFF you it’s a drop in the bucket!! I support you all the way, stay strong my man. To all the haters: You can’t judge someone if you haven’t walked in their shoes.
