Chance Kracke has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for his drug-fueled decision.

This is just disturbing! A daddy put his seven-month-old baby son in a freezer and shut the door after he had smoked methamphetamine that day with his wife! Poor baby! 25-year-old Arizona resident Chance Kracke says that he placed the baby in the freezer last August because he thought the kitchen floor was too messy for the infant to sit on. The baby was in there for a few minutes while Chance was busy cooking food. Eventually he heard the baby crying and plucked him from the freezer. Good thing he came to his senses.

Another woman killed her baby! What is making these women snap?

Luckily the baby was not harmed badly. He suffered a cut and a bump on his forehead. It’s believed that the baby hit his head on the freezer door. The baby’s grandmother is the one who called the police after getting concerned about the size of the bump.

This mother killed her infant for interrupting her Farmville game

When police arrived at the apartment, they found out that Chance and his wife Leanne Kracke had been smoking meth every day for the past month and a half, and had even smoked the very day of the incident.

The apartment was also completely trashed. Broken glass and cockroaches were everywhere and it smelled of urine and feces. Alcohol and sharp objects were also lying around within reach of the children. How horrifying!

Florida mom Julie Powers Schenecker planned ahead to kill her kids!

Chance pleaded guilty to two counts of child abuse and was sentenced to 10 years in prison and life probation by the Maricopa County Superior Court.

Leanne, 26, also pleaded guilty to two charges of child abuse and a count of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to probation for life.

HollyMoms, should these parents ever get back custody of their kid?

i’m sorry but this is what’s the problem with the judicial system is it’s too arbitrary. that child needed to be taken out of that home becuz the parents are addicted and thus a danger to the baby but there is no indication that what happened was intentional. he got the baby out when he realized what he had done. ten years of prison time for that is just not right at all. i should know as i was a victim of abuse from a mother and stepfather who did not take drugs and were nasty, evil and cruel people. what is there excuse and they never went to prison!!!

i feel bad for that man as he is battling addiction, not necessarily that he’s a bad person.

Someone please explain to me why this mother wasn’t given the same exact sentence as the father??? Children are a gift from God, He trusts us to protect them from any harm, to always put their needs first. This woman CHOSE to do drugs. Fine by me if you want to ruin your life but for the love of God, give your baby up for adoption and tie your tubes. Thank goodness for the grandmother! I am so angry that this mother only got lifetime probation instead of the same 10 yrs her husband got. At least if she’s in prison, she won’t be able to procreate more children and put their lives in danger. GRRRR!

Is there a reason that the authorities weren’t called until this happened?!? If the grandmother(or anyone else for that matter) knew the living conditions of this helpless baby, then why wait until then to call the police. Adults can fend for themselves, but babies can’t.
