Heather Morris opened up about Glee‘s future at the AXE Lounge on Super Bowl Sunday and said the show is going to get back to the story lines that made it great in the first place!

We’d be lying if we said our favorite part of Glee isn’t the fun singing and dancing, but catchy song covers can only carry a show for so long — and Heather Morris says the show is going to go back to it’s story telling roots in upcoming episodes this season!

HollywoodLife.com overheard the 24-year-old triple threat dishing about the latest Glee season to a fan at the Axe Lounge in Dallas on Super Bowl Sunday — and we love what we heard.

“We’re doing more storyline stuff and having less focus on the music,” Heather said as she made her way to the VIP section with her boyfriend, Taylor Hubbell.

She added, “You’re also going to see more from [my character] Britney and [her best friend] Santana.”

Woo hoo! More than anything we look forward to Brittany S. Pierce’s epic one liners — we can’t wait to see what creator Ryan Murphy has in store! Do YOU think Glee‘s focus has drifted to only caring about the music, or do you like show as it is now? What would you like to see done differently? Sound off below!
