Steven Tyler's 'Outrageous Behavior' Forces 'American Idol' To Apologize!

The rocker gets scolded for suggestive language on the air!

The producers of American Idol certainly hoped to drum up ratings by adding Steven Tyler to the judge’s table, but they may have bitten off more than they can chew!

On the Feb. 2 episode, a black title card was aired before the broadcast which read, “American Idol would like to apologize for last week’s outrageous behavior by Steven Tyler. Mr. Tyler has been warned and assures us it will never happen again.”

This was intended as an apology for a recent joke Steven, 62, made to contestant Jake Muck, saying his last name rhymed with less-appropriate four letter word.

If Fox is genuine in their apology, it seems silly for them to expect anything less from the outlandish rocker. But something tells us the network just wants to stir up a bit of controversy for their biggest new star!
