Steven Tyler's 'Outrageous Behavior' Forces 'American Idol' To Apologize!

The rocker gets scolded for suggestive language on the air!

The producers of American Idol certainly hoped to drum up ratings by adding Steven Tyler to the judge’s table, but they may have bitten off more than they can chew!

On the Feb. 2 episode, a black title card was aired before the broadcast which read, “American Idol would like to apologize for last week’s outrageous behavior by Steven Tyler. Mr. Tyler has been warned and assures us it will never happen again.”

This was intended as an apology for a recent joke Steven, 62, made to contestant Jake Muck, saying his last name rhymed with less-appropriate four letter word.

If Fox is genuine in their apology, it seems silly for them to expect anything less from the outlandish rocker. But something tells us the network just wants to stir up a bit of controversy for their biggest new star!

He’s not a bully. It’s clear that he’s a compassionate guy, who knows music and likes to have fun.

Odd that Fox didn’t offer a similar disclaimer after Tyler was hitting on the under-18 female contestant, eh?

Apparently, their outrage extends only to suggestions of the F-bomb, but not pedophilia…

Finding a teenager attractive is not pedophilia. How many men find 16-18 year olds attractive? If you want to give it a name it’s Ephebophilia. Don’t deprecate the meaning of pedophilia and it’s true victims.

Oh please, if they didn’t want it on air, they didn’t have to show it… the show at this point is taped, and edited in the room, not live! morons!
