Ricky Gervais Asked To Host Golden Globes For Third Straight Year — Do You Want To See Him Back?

Despite the controversy surrounding his recent hosting gig, Ricky has been asked back to the Golden Globes for the third straight year!

The Golden Globes may be roughly a year away, but organizers have already made the best move possible to ensure another hysterical show — asking back host Ricky Gervais! Ricky wrote in Heat magazine, “The ratings went up again, and the organizers asked me to consider a third year. (But) I don’t think I should. I don’t know what I could do better. I certainly couldn’t get more press for them, that’s for sure.” We think he should come back!

As Ricky points out, his hosting gig gave the program its best ratings in years, and his controversial remarks about everyone from Mel Gibson to Hugh Hefner had everyone talking about the once forgotten awards show.

After watching the incredibly dull Screen Actors Guild Awards we couldn’t agree more with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the group that puts on the Globes every year. Given the amount of coverage Ricky got in the media after the show, ratings would surely be even higher next year if he came back! More importantly, it would actually be funny — a rarity in the world of awards shows!

What do you think HollywoodLifers? Do you want to see Ricky back?

Bring him back for sure.
People need to get over it, comedians are always going to offend people.
British humour is the best.

Creepy guy. Why would I watch it if I knew he would be on? There will be something more enjoyable to watch than creepy guy.
