Kate not only hid her pregnancy from the media, but her friends had no idea she was hiding a baby bump either!

Kate Hudson is a wonderful actress, on and off the screen. It may look like pregnancy is agreeing with her, but in reality, she’s struggling through morning sickness. “I’m pregnant, and I’m really sick,” Kate, 31, tells The Times, with a chuckle. “But I couldn’t say that because you really want to keep it as quiet as you can for the first trimester.” Kate even hid the happy news from her closest friends!

Kate Hudson thinks she’s having a girl

“My friends all thought I was depressed because I wouldn’t leave the house,” she says. “But I didn’t want anyone to know for a long time. I was just hoping that all of a sudden, I could show up somewhere with a big belly.” You would have had to hide out for long time for that to happen, Kate! She adds, “But, of course, you’re somewhere in LA, and somebody says something, and it ends up somewhere.”

And although the actress, who has a 7-year-old son Ryder with her ex-husband Chris Robinson, is thrilled to be expecting a baby with her rocker beau Matt Bellamy, she says there is just one problem. “I babble a lot,” she admits, calling it “pregnancy brain.” “I forget words, and how to put sentences together. I just give up.” Hey HollyMoms, have you ever experienced “pregnancy brain?” We’ve had it too and think it’s real!
