After a 36-hour cocaine-filled bender earlier this week, Charlie Sheen has checked himself into rehab once again
Charlie Sheen is attempting once again to get his addictions under control. The 45-year-old actor checked himself back into rehab Jan. 28, causing his CBS sitcom, Two and a Half Men, to go into hiatus.
The producers for the hit show released a statement saying, “”Due to Charlie Sheen’s decision to enter a rehabilitation center, CBS, Warner Bros. Television and executive producer Chuck Lorre are placing “Two and a Half Men” on production hiatus. We are profoundly concerned for his health and well-being, and support his decision.”
Charlie’s publicist, Stan Rosenfield, says his client is thankful for his fans’ support.
“He is most grateful to all who have expressed their concern,” he told TMZ.
Charlie was rushed to the hospital earlier this week after going on a 36-hour long bender at his house, with alcohol, a briefcase of cocaine and multiple young porn stars. He was released from Cedars Sinai Hospital Jan. 27 and originally planned to return to work the following week.
We applaud Charlie in his efforts to sober up and wish him nothing but the best.
