Amber makes the shocking admission in court that she needs to be monitored for the sake of baby Leah!
Teen Mom star Amber Portwood, 20, appeared at a “closed door” hearing with Child Protective Services yesterday in Indiana and confessed that she had been an “unfit parent” to her two-year-old daughter, Leah! Amber made the admission to Judge Jack Brinkman in Madison County Court, according to RadarOnline.com. She was in court for an update on her custody case, after Leah’s father, Gary Shirley was temporarily awarded custody of the toddler in November of last year.
Amber is currently out of jail on bail after being arrested on misdemeanor and felony charges when she was caught on-camera hitting Gary during the taping of Teen Mom. At the original hearing for this case, Amber admitted that her home was not fit for little Leah to live in, as it had no furniture, and she denied ever attacking Gary. But at yesterday’s hearing, Amber “withdrew her previous denials,” also according to RadarOnline.com.
