Members of the rock band Kings of Leon and the creator of the hit show Glee are having a war of words — whose side are you on?

When Kings of Leon turned down Glee saying they couldn’t use their songs in an episode, they made a powerful enemy — Glee creator Ryan Murphy! Ryan spoke with The Hollywood Reporter and was not very friendly when it came to the rockers, “”F*** you, Kings of Leon.”  he said “They’re self-centered a**holes, and they missed the big picture. They missed that a 7-year-old kid can see someone close to their age singing a Kings of Leon song, which will maybe make them want to join a glee club or pick up a musical instrument.”

This caused drummer Nathan Followill to tweet: “Dear Ryan Murphy, let it go. See a therapist, get a manicure, buy a new bra. Zip your lip and focus on educating 7yr olds how to say f***.” The tweet has been deleted and Nathan apologized for his comments but not before Murphy called Nathan’s comments homophopic.

I thought Glee was supposed to be a happy show? I guess this is a warning to all musicians out there — let Glee use your music or else!

What do you think HollywoodLifers? Whose side are you on?

Maybe they just don’t want to jump on the bandwagon of ‘what’s popluar’ like everyone else.
