Infamously known for his awesome guitar skills, Eddie Van Halen‘s musical talents are showcased in Van Halen songs and tracks like Michael Jackson‘s “Beat It.” Now, he is reuniting with his original frontman David Lee Roth and making a new album with his drummer and brother Alex Van Halen and bassist and son with ex-wife Valerie Bertinelli, Wolfgang, 19. He is currently married to long time love Janie Liszewski.

“The way Wolfgang plays bass is very similar to the way I play guitar,” Eddie says about his son and band mate in a joint interview with Guitar World. ” It’s very unorthodox. His style is interesting. I couldn’t ask for more. Not only has he proven himself but he also takes this stuff further.” Wolfgang adds, “It’s like a genetic metronome. When we end songs, we don’t even look at each other. We all feel it. It’s good music and I love playing it.” Wow, it’s awesome to see that the family talent lives on in Wolfgang and that he gets to play with his dad everyday.
