She’s ready to put her career on hold for the baby. And famous moms like Michelle Williams and Nicole Kidman are giving her advice about going to the Oscars pregnant.
Natalie Portman is not only the one to beat for the Best Actress Oscar, but all eyes will be on her beautiful baby bump when she hits the red carpet! At an Oscar roundtable hosted by Newsweek, Natalie, 29, reveals her desire to spend as much time as possible with her child. “I imagine I’m going to want to be home for years, just me and my baby, and then everyone was like, ‘After two months you just go out of your mind,” Natalie said.
Natalie was greeted with advice and support by Annette Bening, who was eight months pregnant when she was up for a Best Actress Oscar in at the 2000 ceremony, as well as famous moms Nicole Kidman and Michelle Williams. Nicole and Michelle urged Natalie savor the time with her baby post-pregnancy.
“It’s such a blur, a happy blur,” Michelle said.
Annette recalled being pregnant with her fourth child, Ella, during award season. “I just remember a lot of attention being so pregnant and being under so much attention wasn’t my favorite thing,” Annette said.
Judging by how radiant she looked at the Golden Globes, we’re sure Natalie will be the center of attention during the Feb. 27 Oscar ceremony!
