Tomorrow, in an Indiana court, Amber and Gary will have separate but incredibly important dates — and they want baby Leah back in their (collective) arms!
Teen Mom stars Amber Portwood, 20, and Gary Shirley, 24, are heading back to Anderson, Ind., Superior Court on Jan. 26, HollywoodLife.com has learned, and Gary’s going to do everything in his power to get the No Contact Order against him lifted. “Amber and Gary have the same goals,” a source close to the investigation tells us. “They want the Department of Child Services out of Amber’s life, so everything can go back to normal.”
Despite Amber and Gary’s shared goal, however, it’s still possible the Department of Child Services could deny their request.
“If DCS denies Gary’s request, he’ll really know what he’s up against,” our source continues.
But that’s not all. Amber will also face the judge to review her custody over daughter Leah. She and Gary currently share custody of their two-year-old daughter, but due to the ongoing domestic violence investigation against Amber, she needs to regularly prove to the court she’s fit to care for Leah.
Gary doesn’t want Amber to end up in jail, our source tells us: “He and Amber both realize they have a child in common, so they want to make sure nothing goes wrong.”
