Sandra puts her feelings about Jesse James aside for the sake of her beloved former stepdaughter Sunny

Jesse James may be rushing to marry Kat Von D without any thought to how it will affect his children, but Sandra Bullock is going to do everything she can to make sure his youngest daughter Sunny will happily adjust to having a new stepmother.

A source close to Sandra reveals to Popeater: “Sandra loves Sunny with all her heart and will always be in her life. However, she also knows that [Sunny] will have a new mommy soon and will do whatever she needs to do to make sure Jesse’s new wife and Sunny have a great relationship even if that means taking a step away.”

Popeater‘s insider continues: “Sandra thought Jesse would never be able to hurt her again, but she was wrong. When Jesse was in rehab it was Sandy who was a mother to his little girl. Despite what Jesse did, Sandra never walked away from Sunny. She has given that sweet child nothing but love. As difficult as this will be, once again Sandra will prove what a lady she is.”

Sandra famously helped Jesse fight for custody of Sunny, against the six-year-old’s biological mother Janine Lindemulder. Now, with Jesse’s upcoming wedding to Kat Von D, Sunny will have yet another mother figure in her life, which could cause further confusion.

At least she has Sandra in her life to maintain a semblance of normality. Do you think that will change once Jesse remarries? Do you think it should? Sound off below!

In all seriousness, when I heard about them getting together, I was amazed. She was so calm before his storm. He is a bad boy, and she talled about going to bed at 9:00 p.m. I agree with TC in that Jesse probably saw the excitement that he craves in Kat, that he missed out on from Sandra. I am not going to say that he didn’t think of his kids when he wanted to be with Kat, but he really didn’t think very hard. You are living for more than just yourself now.

Jesse has shown very few signs of “classy Behavior”, but I hope & pray he recognizes that his daughter is going to need continued contact with Sandra! Sunny is going to need all of the love and support she can get while trying to adjust to Kat-the-classless!

Statistics indicate that marriages involving children from a prior relationship face a greater than 65% chance of ending in divorce. So there are many children, like Sunny, who must adapt to stepparents entering and leaving their lives. If Sandra’s past is any prediction of the future, she will handle her relationship with Sunny with integrity, grace and sensitivity. Hats off to her.

I dont see Kat as a stepmom but that is the woman that Jesse has picked. So now the best thing for Sandra is to let go. She can always visit with Sunny. Sandra needs to think about completing her family for herself and Louis. Jesse has paid and will be paying for his mistakes for a long time since it looks like he is still making them. He didnt learn anything in rehab.
