Brad says the only way that love will work for him is if his future wife will move to Austin — is this fair of him to ask her to do?
It appears that if Chantal O’Brien is in fact the winner of The Bachelor this season, she’s going to have some serious thinking to do before she marries Brad Womack! Though Brad says that he’s ready to let love in — this time around — he may not be as serious as he claims? On Jan. 24, Brad went on The View to discuss his situation, but informed fans that there’s one thing he’s not willing to budge on — he will NEVER leave his hometown of Austin, Tex.! Even in the name of love!
“I have some deep-seeded roots in Austin,” Brad, 38, said. “And I made that clear. I know love is a compromise, but that’s one part of love I just can’t compromise.”
“I will not allow myself to make a decision that doesn’t fit into my real life,” the 38-year-old bar owner added.
So if Chantal, 28, wins, then hopefully for Brad’s sake she’ll be willing to uproot her life in Seattle, Wash. to move across country to Texas. She would be leaving behind a her family, a lucrative job as her dad’s executive assistant at his car dealership and even a home that she personally owns.
Sadly, if she wants to end up with Brad for the long run, she would have to give all of that up!
BFFs, do you think Brad is being selfish with this request or is it reasonable for him to ask Chantal to uproot her whole life even though he wouldn’t do the same? Vote below!
