Sandy’s love for baby Louis is keeping her sane during this difficult time!
Jesse James‘ announcement Jan. 20 that he was engaged to Kat Von D shocked America, but ex-wife Sandra Bullock knew of the proposal before anyone else!
Sources close to Sandra, 46, tell PopEater.com that she and and Jesse, 41, regularly communicate and he told her in advance that his high-profile engagement was imminent.
“Sandra knew it was coming, and she was ready,” Sandra’s friend tells the site. “It may seem like only yesterday that Jesse and Sandra split, but for her, life has changed so much that it seems like ages ago.”
Sandra’s biggest life change has been caring for her one-year-old son Louis, who has helped her move past Jesse and accept he’s found new love with Kat, 28.
Jesse may be a scumbag, but we’re glad he had the decency to tell Sandra about the engagement before it blew up in the press. (Kelsey Grammer could learn a thing or two from him!)

Seems the man has finally found someone who is as big an inked freak as he is…why anyone would choose to be a walking doodle pad is beyond me. Body art can be tasteful, or it can be trashy…and when you cover up a three dollar pavement princess with scribbles and hook her up with a guy who looks like his normal response to any question would be ‘Huh???’ you have the ‘Cuddly Ugly Couple of the Year’ Much happiness in your future, folks…hope KatD is able to find someone who can set her up with a Paint By Number scale before she sags so much she ends up looking as if she rolled in tar.
