Great news! Representative Gabrielle Giffords was released from Tucson’s University Medical Center on Jan. 21 and sent to a rehab facility in Texas where she will continue receiving treatment for the injuries she suffered Jan. 8 at a grocery store in Arizona, Reuters is reporting.
The congresswoman was tragically shot in the head by now-imprisoned Jared Lee Loughner.
