The bootylicious actress has big shoes to fill in a third remake of this 1937 classic — are YOU excited?
Being a superstar comes naturally to Beyoncé Knowles, but will she be able to play one on the silver screen?
The 29-year-old diva is set to star in the remake of the landmark film A Star Is Born, directed by screen legend Clint Eastwood, Deadline.com reports. The original story follows the journey of a young, ambitious actress whose dreams of onscreen glory are guided by an older actor, and the love that grows between them.
Movies like 2004′s Million Dollar Baby and 2008′s Gran Torino prove that Clint, 80, loves to give himself main roles, but we’re hoping he casts someone a little more believable as Beyoncé’s leading man!

—’Star Is Born’ has been done to death —and has always gone to stars on the way out (Gaynor, Garland, Streisand).
Beyonce’s too young to this.
As for Eastwood, after having fronted a series of Globalist/RED China subtexted ‘eugenics friendly’ themed
picture, and having baulked his own link to the profoundly
important 60th Anniversary of the KOREAN WAR last year
—he’s gone from soldout and on board —to just plain
old clueless and routine.
