The relaunched franchise features few big names — and tons of makeup!
X-Men: First Class is poised to be one of summer 2011′s biggest films and the first eight stills of the new cast have been released! The stars include Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, January Jones as Emma Frost, Jason Flemyng as Azazel, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Lucas Till as Havoc, Zoë Kravitz as Angel Salvadore, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, and James McAvoy as Charles Xavier.
The film is a prequel to the previous X-Men trilogy, set in the 1960′s during the origin of the rivalry between series antagonists Professor X and Magneto. The sprawling cast also include Kevin Bacon and Oliver Platt.
We are excited to see how this superhero-meets-Mad Men style turns out!
