Nicole says they never gave up “faith” that they’d have another child together!
Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman, both 43, shocked the world this week when they announced that they had welcomed a new baby girl on December 28th via surrogate! Now in a new interview in People, a friend of the couple reveals that Faith Margaret takes her middle name from Nicole’s grandmother and her first name from “what her parents say they relied on to fulfill their dream of expanding their family. They never gave up faith they’d have another child together.”
Why did they keep the surrogacy a secret?
“They feel blessed,” says the source, with their little girl, born to a gestational carrier at The Women’s Hospital at Centennial Medical Center in the couple’s hometown, Nashville. Little Faith Margaret joins older sister Sunday Rose, 2, and Kidman’s two adopted children from her marriage to Tom Cruise, Isabella, 18, and Connor, 15.
Nicole told People in 2008 that she would have more children “if it’s God’s plan.”
