That deserves a high five! In the new Feb issue of American Vogue, you adorn the cover and multiple pages inside and you’re actually WEARING stunning designer clothes in every shot.
That is a huge departure from the relentlessly growing trend of Hollywood’s females, stripping for virtually every cover and inside magazine spread, in the name of art.
Kim Kardashian, Jen Aniston, and Rihanna, are three repeat strippers, but virtually every young starlet now feels compelled to de-clothe for magazines and ad campaigns.
Allure magazine has an annual nude issue and last year featured Emmanuelle Chriqui, Kara DioGuardi among others. Plus Lady GaGa, Katy Perry, Heidi Klum, Lindsay Lohan, Britney and Amanda Seyfried have all gone and stripped down to their undies for magazine photoshoots in the past year.
Then there are the PETA nudies – Khloe Kardashian, Olivia Munn, Bethany Frankel, Eva Mendes, and Karina Smirnoff who have all gone bare to protect animals.
That is why it’s such a relief that you, K-Stew, have not buckled under bare-all body pressure. You have the confidence to know that you don’t have to take off your clothes for your fans to take to the newsstands and buy a magazine that has pus you on its cover.
If you don’t believe that you stand out, just check out a lineup of other February magazine covers.
Kim Kardashian flashes her bra on Glamour, Minka Kelly lounges in a bra and garter in GQ, Jen Aniston flashes her cleavage and bare chest in Allure, Olivia Munn lounges in an open shirt and see-through panties on Maxim, and Rooney Mara, the upcoming star of ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo‘ flashes her chest on the cover of W Magazine. It’s a giant flesh overshare!
So thank you Kristen for showing that you can be a star and still be a lady!
