Best Actress winner Natalie Portman loves being in her own “womb-like environment.” That explains her gorgeous glow on the red carpet of the Golden Globes last night!
Did anyone have a more incredible night at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards than Natalie Portman? She won the Best Actress (Drama) Globe, she was radiant beyond belief on the red carpet, and managed to do it all coping with the stress of being — oh yeah — more than three months pregnant!
So we were glad to see that Natalie, 29, who told Ryan Seacrest “it’s not easy in heels with a bump,” changed out of her pink Viktor & Rolf draped gown and heels into a more comfortable-looking Azzaro grey shift, both of which perfectly accentuated her teeny baby bump. Reason for Natalie’s healthy mom-to-be glow? Exercise! “I have been swimming every day,” she says, “which has been really, really wonderful. When I am in my womb-like environment, I am hoping the baby is feeling peaceful in its environment.” How sweet!
The actress revealed that she has started to look into some names for her first child with fiance Benjamin Millepied, 33, who is due this summer. “I’ve been thinking about it but haven’t done the (baby name) book,” she says. “I’m open to suggestions.” Hollymoms, have any ideas for Natalie and Benjamin?
In her acceptance speech, Natalie thanked her mom, Shelley and dad, Avner for giving her such a wonderful life and gave a shout out to her hubby-to-be and their future little one! “Thank you Benjamin for helping me continue this creation of creating more life,” she said. We hope Natalie had a night to remember!
